Amelie Bangs and Eco Friendly Clothing

So I cut my own bangs.
Mistake.
Think Amelie but without the beautiful actress and Parisienne chic.
My daughter laughed out loud.
Wretch.
But they will grow, and with perfect timing to distract me from my worse than usual hair, my dresses arrived from  Concious Clothing and they are absolutely perfect.

I got this Organic Cotton Lotus Dress without the sleeves:

And this Everyday Racerback Dress in cobalt:

Rose at Concious Clothing believes in making fashions that have a low environmental impact. I bought a wrap dress from her last year and have become a faithful customer.  Her dresses are soft, beautiful, comfortable, and fit perfectly. Add to that the eco friendliness of it all and who will notice the bangs? Thanks Rose!

  1. That's hilarious. I remember when my best friend did that in 6th grade but the baby bang wasn't in style then ;o)

  2. Sadly I'm not in 6th grade. They really did look okay when they were wet, but then they shrunk. A lot :)

  4. The bangs will grow in soon. :)

I always cut my own hair but I definitely avoid creating bangs. Tried it once when I was in High School and had to use lots of hairspray to make them look like they were not bangs. lol!

Love your new dresses. Enjoy your new purchases and have a great weekend.

  5. Thanks Elisa, you're right, they will grow, and they're already laying down flatter than they were the first couple of days :) You have a great wekkend too, a long weekend, yay!
